The largest market share of new registered passenger battery electric vehicles in Europe is in Norway (31 %), the Netherlands (5 %), Sweden, Austria and France (2 %). The share of electric vehicles in new vehicles registrations remains low in the Czech Republic, reaching 0.27 % in 2018. Policy measures can significantly support adoption of electric vehicles by consumers. Based on a literature review, we discuss a wide range of policy measures to support battery electric vehicles (BEV), including effectiveness of these measures. Further, we describe support measures in the Czech Republic. Last, we aim at the expected trends in BEVs and a policy design that may support to increase market share of BEV technology when undesirable side effects on inequality, public finance and the environment are minimised.

Determining a location of the fire origin is an important and integral part of the process of the fire investigation. Any new information, experience, research or method represents an improvement in this complicated area. With this knowledge, fire investigators can more confidently interpret conclusions of their work. Fire dynamic also helps them with a better understanding of fire effect and assistance them with evaluating fire patterns in affected rooms of buildings.

Measuring and control devices as well as other HVAC systems, run through their lifecycle, at the end of which the system needs to be reconstructed. A key condition for a successful retrofit is to determine the required life of the refurbished equipment.

The "size" of the control system has a significant impact on how individual actors in the supply chain - investor, designer, salesman and implementation technician or programmer - are approaching it. But how do you determine the size - and how do you define it at all? In terms of measurement and regulation, we can highlight two main factors: range and complexity.

Unique charging station for electric vehicles was opened in february at the Prague Fair Grounds. The project combines recharging of electric vehicles with other functions: by producing their own energy using roof photovoltaics and by regulating overvoltage or undervoltage of the surrounding network using a battery system.

Results of the measurement ultrasonic pulse method are influenced by numerous factors. The influence of humidity and the method of sounding, direct and semi-direct on the measurement results was monitored. The influence of moisture and the method of transmission the bricks influences the measurement results by varying degrees. The least is influenced by the results of measurements on calcium silicate bricks and, on the contrary, on clay bricks made of plastic dough. Here shows synergistic effects of the state structures and defects in the head.

It is expected that the new administrative centre of Lesy České republiky would be an exemplary demonstration of the use of wood, which will be used in the form of the building material or in which the importance of wood will be emphasized in another appropriate way. The paper is focused on a proposal that won the international architectural competition in 2016.

The thesis is focused on smart metering system and ripple control. The first theoretical part describes function of ripple control. The second theoretical part presents smart metering technology with introduction of a new system of energy settlement. The new system of energy settlement use prices in the intraday market which are published on Electric grid operator’s website. The system can be considered as a dynamic tariff. The system of energy settlement is demonstrated on consumption of the family house. The comparison of both systems is demonstrated in the final part of the thesis.

The basic milestone in the post-revolutionary development of alarm monitoring was the development of telecommunications and the gradual liberalization of the market. The changes that we have experienced in the period after 1989, however, only followed the ongoing global trend. Trend, the beginning of which can be found during the Industrial Revolution, specifically in II. the 19th century, when the term telecommunication appeared in the territory of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia.

The paper deals with the experimental analysis aimed at function verification of fiber optic sensors (Fiber Bragg Gratings). The sensors are used for mechanical stress measurement in wooden load-bearing structures. Glued laminated timber beam with built-in fiber optic sensor system was mechanically loaded during two bending tests. The data obtained using the fiber optic sensors were compared with the results of reference measurement method and analytical calculation.

It is taken as given that fire safety rules for buildings do not concern those who install electric devices that are not for fire protection. But that is a big mistake. Fire safety rules for buildings concern everybody who is in an interaction with the building in any way. And lightning protection is disregarded as well.

Most of the companies that benefit from their history of so-called "commercial security" base their business on the knowledge of legislation and they are aware of the importance of ČSN for their business. But closer attention should be given by those who see security as mere business.
